Foripower Awarded ISO 26262:2018 Functional Safety ASIL D Process Certification

Recently, Foripower has been awarded the ISO 26262:2018 Functional Safety ASIL D Process Certification by SGS, a globally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization. This certification signifies that Foripower has established a product development and management process system compliant with the highest functional safety level, "ASIL D," in accordance with the ISO 26262:2018 standard.

Foripower, a leading manufacturer of critical fuel cell Balance of Plant (BOP) components, has established significant technological advantages in high-power DC/DC converters, high-speed air compressor controllers (FCC MCU), and integrated fuel cell high-voltage systems (PCU). Foripower has partnered with over 100 fuel cell enterprises worldwide, including many globally renowned automotive suppliers.With leveraging extensive project experience, Foripower has achieved rapid product iteration and technological advancement, securing a dominant position in both market share and industry influence.

Under the guidance of the SGS Functional Safety Center for this certification , Foripower has strictly implemented to the requirements of ISO 26262:2018 standard. In close collaboration with SGS experts, based on the integration of Foripower's existing development process system, it has implemented a functional safety standard development process covering the entire product life cycle, including functional safety management, system development, hardware development, software development, and support processes.

Through independent assessment by SGS, Foripower's established functional safety development process has been verified as fully compliant with ISO 26262:2018 requirements, earning the Functional Safety ASIL D Process Certification. This achievement lays a solid foundation for Foripower's future development and certification of functional safety products.

Through the collective efforts of our team, we are honored to receive the ISO 26262:2018 ASIL D certification for automotive functional safety from SGS today.This achievement signifies that Foripower has established a comprehensive product functional safety development process, laying a solid foundation for our safety-oriented product development. The certification also marks a new milestone for Foripower, aligning with our vision of becoming a trusted developer and manufacturer of power electronics components for fuel cells—delivering stable and reliable high-voltage system solutions to our customers while jointly embracing a green and sustainable future. And we would like to express our gratitude to the SGS team for their professional evaluation and support!
